G2's Fall 2026 reports are out, and for the first time, we're ranked #1 in the Momentum Grid for Marketing Automation, out of 191 vendors. We're also #1 in the Momentum Grid for Personalization, and #7 in the Global Marketing Automation Grid.

G2

Momentum is the one we've had our eye on. It measures trajectory rather than size: how fast a product is growing in satisfaction, employee count, and web presence relative to everyone else in the category. You can't buy your way up it, and a company that's coasting doesn't place well no matter how established it is.

Here's the part that means the most to us. In G2's Summer 2025 reports, we were #4 in Momentum out of 177 vendors. This fall, in a field that's grown to 191, we're #1. That climb came entirely from customers taking the time to write about their experience. Thank YOU for that.

  • Best Relationship, Mid-Market. Highest Relationship rating, covering support quality and ease of doing business.
  • Most Implementable, Small-Business. Highest Implementation rating, based on how quickly and smoothly teams get up and running.

High Performer placements

  • High Performer, Enterprise
  • High Performer, Mid-Market EMEA
  • High Performer, Africa
  • High Performer, Small-Business Africa

And one more

  • Users Love Us, earned at 20+ reviews with an average of 4.0 stars or better

If we had to pick favorites from that list, it'd be Best Results and Most Implementable. Results means people got what they came for. Most Implementable means they got there without a six-month onboarding slog. Those two together describe the thing we actually care about building.

The regional spread matters to us too. Leader in Europe, Leader in Mid-Market EMEA, Leader in Small-Business India, and High Performer across Africa. Those placements come from teams in markets where we're still growing, so it's exciting to feel the love there.

Where this comes from

G2 rankings are built from verified customer reviews. No sponsorships, no paid placements. Which means every one of these badges traces back to somebody logging in and writing a few honest paragraphs about their experience, including the parts that frustrate them.

We read those. The praise is nice, and the criticism is more useful. Reviews are a big part of how we figure out what to build next, and a fair amount of what shipped this year, including our AI agent and the rest of the release, started as a pattern in customer feedback before it was a roadmap item.

So: thank you. Genuinely. Nearly 750 reviews and a 4.4 average mean a lot of people are choosing to spend time on our behalf, and we don't take it for granted.

If you use Customer.io and haven't left a review yet, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us what's working and what isn't. The second part helps more.

And if you're evaluating platforms right now, the reviews are worth more than this post is. Go read what actual marketers say about the work, then come talk to us.
