September Release Notes

Continuing the work we did with branching last month, we introduced a new branch type and additional conditions. Read on to learn more about our new features and smaller improvements.

What’s New?

Date-Triggered Campaigns

Simplify the process of creating birthday, anniversary, and other recurring campaigns based on date attributes.

Random Cohort Branch

This branch allows you to randomly split people based on the percentage allotted per path.

Additional Branching Conditions

We added more condition operators to branch and action conditions. Non-equality operators (less than, greater than, and in between) and message actions (sent, opened, clicked, converted, and unsubscribed) can now be configured directly in the workflow without requiring new segments.

ReCharge and WooCommerce Integrations

Reaffirming our commitment to the subscription economy, this month we released two new integrations for key platforms in the space. If you have a Shopify store that uses ReCharge for recurring payments, or use WooCommerce for subscriptions, our new integrations allow you to be up and running with Customer.io in just a click. Learn more about our ReCharge integration here and our WooCommerce integration here.

Smaller Improvements

  • We fixed an issue with anonymous users not showing up in delays and time windows.
  • Delivery logs can now be filtered based on a date.
  • Delivery metrics exports now include metrics for non-email deliveries.
  • We fixed an issue when deleting wait until action from a campaign.
  • We added support for delivered messages to be resent.

What’s Next?

We’ll be releasing Journey metrics as a beta next month. This will show you how many journeys have started, are in progress, have exited early, are completed, and have converted for a campaign.
