Update on our European Availability Zone

After the European Court of Justice (CJEU) announced the invalidation of the Privacy Shield Framework last summer, Customer.io implemented Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) to allow for the lawful transfer of data for our EU customers.

If you’re an EU customer and require an executed Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), download, countersign our pre-signed form, and return the final copy to your CSM or submit it here.

For customers who prefer to host their data in the EU, you can now choose to do so. Customer.io’s European availability zone came into effect on March 24th. New customers will be presented the option to select US or EU regions when creating their accounts. Existing customer migrations can be coordinated through your Customer Success Manager.
